SESDA was formed in 1980 by Jean Hutchins, with parents and teachers who were concerned about children with specific learning difficulties.

SESDA is run by a voluntary Committee who send information on Dyslexia to all state and private schools.  We aim to increase dyslexia awareness with practical advice for parents, teachers and classroom assistants, through our helplines and meetings.
